Jameco Construction CFO is the construction-specialist arm of the Jameco Group. We act as your Virtual Finance Department, Virtual CFO, and Strategic Tax Advisor, giving construction businesses the financial support and advice they actually need, all year round.
We work with UK construction firms turning over up to £5 million, across all trades and specialisms. Main contractors, sub contractors, fit-out, groundworks, structural, M&E, HVAC, roofing, drylining, fire and security, facilities maintenance, and plenty more. If your business operates in or around the construction industry, we're set up to support it.
How Jameco Construction CFO came about
The Jameco Group launched in 2017 working with agencies and consultancies. We built a proactive, tech-savvy practice that worked alongside clients all year round rather than just turning up at year end.
One referral to a construction client changed everything. That client introduced us to another, and then another. The conversations were always the same. Their accountant didn't understand CIS, had never dealt with domestic reverse charge, and nobody was looking at their figures during the year. They were growing, but without any real visibility over their financial position.
It became clear that construction needed its own dedicated service, not something bolted onto what we were already doing. So rather than trying to cover it as part of a general practice, we built a team and a service specifically around the financial complexities that construction businesses deal with every day.
2017
Jameco Group launched to offer agencies and consultancies more than just basic accounting, opening our first office in Kent.
2021
We launched Jameco Construction CFO to provide the same level of proactive, specialist support to our growing construction clientele.
2025
We introduced virtual CFO services to help mid-sized construction firms with strategic planning, cash flow forecasting, and financial leadership without the full-time cost.
What working with us looks like

Our leadership team
James started his career in financial markets before retraining as an accountant and tax advisor. He launched the Jameco Group in 2017 and now leads strategy, marketing, and client advisory across both the Group and Jameco Construction CFO.
Claira is a chartered certified accountant with over ten years of experience in construction, across both industry and practice. She joined Jameco in 2020 and now leads the team across compliance and advisory at Jameco Construction CFO.
